Rishi Mukherjee is a first-generation Indian-American actor and writer born and based in New York.
Rishi discovered a passion for acting quite by accident when he took a Shakespeare class at the Tisch School of the Arts while completing his BA in Economics and Creative Writing at NYU. Upon graduating he started training at the Stella Adler Studio’s Summer Conservatory and the William Esper Studio, where he completed the Two-Year Meisner Program under Terry Knickerbocker. After working in New York for three years, he was accepted to the MFA Acting Program at the California Institute of the Arts (Class of 2019) where he studied his craft and participated in numerous theater productions and films. In addition to his love of film and theater, he has performed with various New York punk-bands since the age of 12.
Rishi now works in the New York theater and film scene.
